Sessions are very informal, including casual poses and "magazine-style" images. And, you'll always have Deb's undivided attention during your shoot. Sessions are completely customized for your needs.

Newborn/Maternity:
Deb is quickly becoming known as one of the area's
leading baby photographers!
These special sessions are photographed in your home using available light (usually window light) for a soft, classic look that captures the essence of the image. Black & white is ideal for maternity and newborn images, although all sessions include some color as well. Deb never rushes your session. If your baby needs a snuggle or snack break, then we take a break!

Maternity sessions are designed
to showcase the natural beauty of pregnancy-whether it's your first or
fifth. You may include your husband and/or older children in the session.
Newborn sessions focus on the delicate "newness" of your baby. Your baby
will be photographed alone, as well as cradled in your loving arms. Deb
prefers natural light for its beautiful qualities, as well as to protect

Baby/Children: Deb's goal is to capture the essence of your child in a natural portrait. She avoids the "say cheese" smile that we are all familiar with! She prefers to capture the varying, natural expressions of your child -- from contemplative, to 'pouty', to pure and joyful laughter! As the mother of young children herself, she relates well to the children she photographs, adding to the natural feel of the photos. It is clear from the portraits she creates, that Deb loves children. Don't be surprised to see Deb get down on the floor to play with your child! Sessions are never rushed so that the children have a chance to warm up and feel comfortable. Some of the best images come later in the session! Do you want to be treated like you’re on a portrait assembly line
at a crowded studio? Or, do you want exceptional, personal service from a
photographer who is dedicated to creating the fine art portraiture that
you want and deserve! Because of the high level of personal service
that Deb offers her clients -- before, during, and after their portrait
sessions -- Deb must limit the number of portrait sessions that she
accepts each week. Portrait sessions are usually booked two weeks to
a month in advance.
