Your Baby's First Year of Life will go by in a flash! Professional portraits are the best way to preserve this precious, fleeting time. Our Baby Steps Club was designed to make it easy for you!

Schedule your baby’s first portrait session before 2 months of age (at our regular pricing) and you’re automatically enrolled in our Baby Steps Club.

You may schedule additional sessions over your baby's first year at your convenience - most families schedule 3 or 4 sessions over the first year - and I've had several families book monthly sessions over their child's first year! Include Mommy & Me, Daddy & Me, your family, and siblings at any session!

Baby Steps Club Members save $50 off our regular session fee pricing on each additional session you book over the year.

A small travel fee may apply to each session depending on your location.

Book as many or as few sessions over your Baby's First Year as you like.  Please note that sessions are generally planned based on baby's development and not chronological age (as every baby develops differently).

A New Life
Newborn - 2 months
 
This is a great time to focus on all the little details - the hands, fingers, toes, and the special bond between a newborn and parent. Our black background is very popular for this session, and we'll start with it. Mom and Dad should be dressed in long sleeved black shirts and dark pants or jeans. Your baby can be bare, in a diaper with a diaper cover, or can wear a cloth diaper. Your First Family Portrait will be captured at this session.

Baby Love
4-5 months

Your baby should be pushing up from a tummy position for this session. We'll try to capture a sweet, smiling portrait, although a serious look is very endearing, as well. This is a wonderful age to photograph a tender Mommy & Me portrait.

Personality
6 -8 months

Your child should be sitting independently for this session. Six month olds are very expressive, and our goal will be to capture these adorable, changing expressions in fun portraits. Appropriate clothing includes: Diaper covers, bloomers, overalls, tulle skirts or a simple solid-colored outfit. This is a great age for a fun Daddy & Me portrait.

Freedom
1 year (generally 10-12 months)

What a great time to capture the essence of your baby’s personality! Your baby should be standing independently for this session. Clothing ideas include: overalls, bare feet, tulle dresses. This is usually a short session, as this age has much more important things to do than deal with me!

Some clients choose to schedule monthly sessions to fully capture their baby's first year - other clients may choose newborn, six months, and one year. It's your choice!

The Fine Print

POLICIES: Session fees must be paid in advance to book your session date and are non-refundable. If you must reschedule your session, please provide 24 hours notice and your fee will be rolled over to the new date. No-shows will not be rescheduled, nor refunded. Sessions are generally scheduled Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Saturday sessions generally book 3-4 weeks in advance.  All images include light retouching/enhancements; additional retouching will require an additional fee.

Travel Fee: All sessions are provided on location. I come to you! Mileage is calculated from my home office in Cut-n-Shoot, Texas! Travel up to 25 miles (one way) is included in your session fee. This generally covers Conroe, Lake Conroe, The Woodlands, and most parts of Spring. For travel outside of this area, a travel fee will be charged. 26-50 miles one way - $25, 51-75 miles one way - $50, 76 - 100 miles one way - $100, 100+ miles one way - ask for quote, extended travel may require overnight accommodations. To avoid a travel fee, just schedule your outdoor session at a park location within my travel area.

Guarantee: We will do everything possible to ensure you are thrilled with your portrait experience, however, due to the custom nature of our work, refunds are not available. If you are not happy with your session images, please notify us within 24 hours - we will delete all the images from our session and offer a re-shoot. To ensure your satisfaction, please be sure that our style meets your needs before scheduling your session. BE SURE to download your images and SAVE them to your computer when the link is sent to you. The link expires after two weeks. We recommend saving your images in at least two places [i.e. hard drive and CD or online back-up.]  Images are regularly purged from our system; therefore, we cannot guarantee their availability in the future.

Referrals: We love our clients!! Next to you, the best thing is your  friends and families. Tell them about your experience with Deb Evans Photography and receive a $25 referral credit when they book/complete a session with us. Your credit[s] will be applied to your next session.
